Reception wasn't very welcoming. I felt I was disturbing them from doing other things. You had to dial a number off a phone at the reception hatch to get attention! Rooms, although looked clean didn't smell fresh. No atmosphere in pub/dining/breakfast area. On a positive note breakfast and dinner was nice. Amples of parking. Dining staff where extremely friendly.

The staff don't wearing uniform. You have a feeling some other costumer clean your table. Simple menu,bad food. Wrong cooking way. Horrible experience. We find hair in the food on the dinner and the breakfast is well. The whole hotel looks very old inside. So disappointing.

Impromptu meal out at our fabulous local hotel. So lucky to have this on our doorstep! Great service & delicious food in lovely comfortable surroundings. I'm in a wheelchair & it's super accessible.

We stopped for lunch on Sunday. The food was lovely, but it was the service that gave it 5 stars. The staff were so friendly and went over and above to make every customer feel welcome.

Myself and my friends had a brilliant experience when we stayed for a girlie weekend. The staff could not do enough for us from the receptionist, waiting staff, bar staff and cleaners all were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and the beds were very comfortable. We had dinner on Saturday evening and we all had different dishes which were very nice. The breakfast was the best we have had in a hotel lovely and fresh and hot. Great value for money. All in all a great experience and we will be back again.

Food was nice.few issues with rooms see pics.also service shaft doors were open on 2nd floor these should be closed at all times safety issue. The building it's self needs updating other then that it's cheap to stay 125.00 per night and staff are nice, definitely not a 3 star more like a one star,would I stay again ,no maldron would be my next choice,

Stopped here on bank holiday Monday, at 4.15pm. went to Pollys to order food they stated that they don't do food on weekends (it's monday). We Went into the hotel. They stated that they start serving at 5pm. We said we'd wait. Waitress never offered us any drinks. She said she would get us menus. Ten minutes later we had to get them ourselves. If pollys don't serve weekends please state it and not leave people disappointed. 13 people walked out of the hotel because they weren't serving food. Not impressed
